How to play Brick Out online
Brick Out is a simple online game, just like Arkanoid. Your goal is to bounce a metal ball on a paddle to hit the colorful bricks and destroy them. You can only move the paddle sideways using your mouse or your finger if you are playing on a touchscreen.
Each time you let the ball fall, you lose one life. At the beginning of the game, you have three lives. You will lose the game if you run out of lives.
Some bricks will release power-ups once you destroy them. Use the paddle to catch these power-ups. Be careful, however! Some power-ups can help you with your task while others make it harder to accomplish.

Bricks
Colorful bricks:require 1 hit to be destroyed. The player must destroy them all to advance to the next level.
Brown bricks: require 3 hits to be destroyed.
Silver bricks: indestructible. Can be used to bounce the ball against them.
Power-ups
Fireball:for a limited amount of time, the ball can destroy all the bricks in its way, without bouncing on them
Multiple balls:more balls are added to the game at the same time. Can make the game easier or more difficult depending on the player’s game style.
Increase ball speed: makes the ball move faster.
Decrease ball speed: makes the ball move slower.
Increase paddle: widens the paddle.
Decrease paddle: shortens the paddle.
Stop bar:for a limited amount of time, a bar blocks the bottom of the game screen, preventing the ball from falling down.
Magnet: stops the ball on top of the paddle. The player must click or tap on the screen to release the ball again.
Bullets: for a limited amount of time, the paddle will shoot bullets that can destroy the bricks.
1Up: grants players one life.
Tips to win at Brick Out
Get familiar with the game
Before aiming at conquering all the levels, it is best to start slowly and get acquainted with the game. Brick Out is a free online game, so take advantage of it.
Play a few practice rounds without caring for lives or progression. Get used to moving the paddle, its speed, and the way certain movements can change the direction of the bouncing ball.
Choose you power-ups
Becoming familiar with the game also includes getting to know the power-ups and their effects. Some are clearly helpful in destroying the bricks (the fireball or the bullets, for example) while others can make the game easier or more difficult depending on the game style of each player.
For instance, some players may find it harder to control a slow ball while others may prefer it to a speedy ball.
Try to catch as many power-ups as possible while getting acquainted with the game to understand which ones work best for you and which to avoid.
Create a path to the top
A good strategy to win at Brick Out and Arkanoid alike is to create a clear path that lets the ball bounce to the top of the screen. The narrower the path, the better.
The reason is simple: the ball will bounce up and will become “trapped” on top, destroying all the top bricks without you having to do anything.
